Tutorials Translation and Interpreting

The S5 tutorial courses are desinged to help students discover the main procedures and techniques in translation. 
Students will find various summaries about the translation of the materials discussed in the classrooms in addition the lecturer's comments. 
The tutorial also includes introductory exercises in the field of translation. 
Language combination: Arabic- English / English Arabic


Translation and Interpreting

This course aims at developping the 3rd year BA students' konwledge and skills on translation and interpreting.

In this semester students will discover:

- The categories and types of translation 

- The major translation theories 

- The translator's required skills 

- The translators' ethics and principles

- The concept of equivalence 

- The manin challenges in translation 

- The use of ICts in translation
