 The Linguistics Theories & Core Areas 2 is meant to introduce students to the range of fundamental ideas and problems of contemporary linguistics, and to highlight the main range of theoretical frameworks of the major schools/trends in linguistics including: Traditional Grammar, Comparative Philology, Structuralis-European qnd American, and its schools moving from Geneve, Prague, London, American descriptivism and TGG and its development till the minimalist program,).  At the conclusion of the course, you will have a better understanding of language and possess the tools necessary for more advanced studies in Linguistics.
