Module Description
This module is intended for Master 2 students in Structural Engineering and focuses on structural modeling and analysis using SAP2000.
Through supervised practical sessions, students apply geometric modeling, material definition, load cases, and load combinations previously introduced in the third-year Civil Engineering Tutorial Work "Computer-Aided Structural Analysis-Calcul Assisté par Ordinateur".
The module emphasizes compliance with national structural and seismic design codes. A complete reinforced concrete building case study is conducted, including both static and dynamic analyses using the response spectrum method.
The module aims to develop technical competence, modeling accuracy, and critical interpretation of numerical results for professional engineering practice.
