Traitement des eaux
This course is intended for first-year Master's students in Microbial Biotechnology. It focuses on the main physico-chemical and biological wastewater treatment processes commonly used. In this document, these treatment processes are presented in a very simple way to facilitate understanding of the logic behind wastewater treatment and the various mechanisms involved.
This course is structured in four chapters:
The first chapter presents the characteristic parameters/discharge standards.
The second chapter outlines the different phases of wastewater treatment implemented in treatment plants.
The third chapter is devoted to the presentation of sludge treatment processes.
The last chapter presents sanitation networks.
