Students of Geologie field are brought to use physics and mathematics to solve real world problems. The world beneath our feet is incredibly complex and the source of the natural resources fundamental to the functioning of our society. They have to utilise the latest signal processing, modelling and imaging techniques and some of the most advanced compute facilities to build high-resolution 3D models of subsurface geology and rock properties.
