Introduction:

The English module familiarizes students with English, which has become the international language of science. Scientific English is a particular variety of English, in that it is representative of an international scientific community which today finds itself at a transition point between reduced plurilingualism and the total monopoly of English.

Objectives:

1. Acquire a good knowledge of scientific terms in English.

2. Improve and broaden the reading and comprehension of scientific texts.

3. Know how to write and analyze scientific articles in English.

4. Acquire and manipulate tools for oral scientific communication.

5. Use the language flexibly and effectively in a professional context.
