Numerical analysis is an applied branch of mathematics. It seeks solutions to practical problems .This handout is a support for the numerical analysis course in the second year of a Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences. It covers : finding roots of a real function of a real variable, polynomial interpolation, numerical integration, integration of differential equations, and solving
linear systems.
