It seeks to raise students’ awareness of ethical and professional principles, introduce them to the rules governing university life—particularly their rights and obligations within the academic community—as well as to the requirements of the professional world. The course also emphasizes respect for and appreciation of intellectual property, while explaining the risks associated with ethical misconduct and moral deviations, such as corruption, and the ways to prevent and combat them.
