Course Objectives :

This course aims to help students develop a level of English that enables them to understand scientific documents and communicate about their field of study and specialization with clarity, accuracy, and reasonable fluency.
By the end of the course, students should be able to use English effectively in both lectures and tutorial sessions related to their scientific and technical studies.

Course Content :

  • Development of listening and speaking skills, acquisition of scientific and technical vocabulary, and reinforcement of essential grammar structures.
  • Study and use of nouns and adjectives, comparative forms, giving and following instructions, and identifying objects and phenomena.
  • Use of numbers, symbols, and equations in scientific and technical contexts.
  • Measurements: length, area, volume, power, and other physical quantities.
  • Describing scientific experiments clearly and accurately.
  • Characteristics of scientific texts: structure, style, objectivity, and precision.
