Fundamental Electronics

The Fundamental Electronics course aims to provide students with the theoretical and practical foundations necessary for understanding and analyzing electronic circuits. It forms an essential basis for studies in electrical engineering, electronics, and related disciplines.

This course first covers fundamental electrical quantities and basic circuit concepts, then introduces the study of elementary electronic components and their operation.

The main topics studied are:

Passive components: resistors, capacitors, and inductors, and their behavior in DC and AC circuits.

Active components:

diodes (rectification, current limiting, regulation),

bipolar junction transistors (BJTs) 

operational amplifiers and their basic applications.
