This course enables Master 1 students, speciality linguistics, to understand the mutual impact of society on language and vice versa. It measures the factors that influence language and dialect alteration in different speech communities. Accordingly, many factors intervene in the process of variation; this latter could be measured through regional/spacial variation or social variation.
