In the process of Translation, the translator aims at transferring a message from a source language to a target language, keeping the same meaning and intention, using different tools.

In this course, we are going to discover these tools according to a model established by Jean Paul Vinay and Jean Darbelnet.

The role of translation is crucial when it comes to transmitting, spreading and sharing information, data and various types of materials from a source language to a target one. A whole set of sciences and disciplines evolved throughout the time from medicine to astrology, from philosophy to artificial intelligence and the idea of the information/technology transfer feels more tangible day after day.
